I just read about this 50 something year old Indonesian man who has this rare disease where bubble-like bumps formed all over his body. They’re quite gruesome and as a result he never leaves his little home to prevent mockery and frightening children. This man was once handsome and well off but now you could barely distinguish his nose. Despite it all his wife stayed by his side. She tells him ”Your’re still handsome.”
This really touched me. I don’t think there’s many people out there who would stay with their husband if such a thing occurred to him. Just kind of shows the rarity of “true love” in today’s world. This man might be facing a difficult time but he’s so blessed to have found the one. He found his soul mate. And if you ask me, if you find that, you have it all.
